Dakota Munger of Chamberlain was the medalist as he carded a 69. Winner Area’s Ryder Halligan was tied for runner up with a 76. Sandler Wiekamp of Chamberlain was fourth with a 77. Karson Keiser of Winner Area was fifth with an 80. Chase McQuirk of Chamberlain was sixth with an 83. Winner Area’s Landon Calhoon tied for 9th with an 86. Chamberlain won the team title while Winner Area was runner up.

Hamill Horseman Club celebration set for Saturday

The Hamill Horseman Club will hold their 50th anniversary celebration this weekend! On Saturday, September 30th, they will have registration take place at 2:30pm, followed by a playday at 3pm. Supper will be provided at the Hamill Hall as they will be serving roast beef sandwiches, salad and dessrt for a free will offering. Cody Henson Hullinger will provide the entertainment starting at 6pm.

Hay Daze coming up in Platte

The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce has Hay Daze coming up on September 30th! There will be a 5k run and walk at 8:30am, a co-ed softball tournament at 9am, farmers market 9-1, car show and shine from 10-2, chili cook-off at 11:30am, and much more happening!
