At the Class B Mount Marty Meet in Yankton on Thursday,
Lincoln Kranig of Kimball/White Lake won the boys 200 in 22.99. In the girls 4 x 8 relay, Kimball/White Lake finished runner up to Mount/Vernon Plankinton. In the boys 60 meter dash, Lincoln Kranig of Kimball/White Lake placed fifth. In the girls mile, Autumn Baker of Kimball/White Lake placed fifth, while her teammate, Alli McCord was sixth. In the girls 200, Breckynn Pistulka of Burke placed fourth.
Chamberlain senior students will hold their 2nd annual Scholarthon on April 8th from 11am to 2pm. Organizers of the event have a goal of raising $20,000 to help provide scholarships for present and future Chamberlain graduates. You will be able to livestream the event on Chamberlain’s Cub Nation Youtube channel.

The Big Bend Shrine Circus will be coming back to the Chamberlain Armory on April 20th and the 21st! Shows will be at 4:30 and 7:15. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Tickets can be purchased at Burke Oil, or by calling 605-730-0799.
The City of Winner will hold it’s annual Spring Cleanup the week of April 13th. The city is asking residents within city limits to please separate all items and have curbside or in the alley by Monday, April 13th. No plastic or tires will be accepted.

The 33rd annual East/West Basketball Shootout was held Monday at the Gregory Auditorium. The East All Stars won the girls game, 107-54. Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal led the East with 31 points, while Burke’s Emmi Hausmann chipped in 19. Winner’s Kylie Sachtjen led the West with 14 points while Kali Randall of Chamberlain added 11 points. The boys game was won by the East team, 93-81. Ky Arpan of Wagner led the East with 21 points while Gregory’s Colt Keiser had 20 points. Riddik Big Eagle of Chamberlain and Jye Bailey of Platte/Geddes each scored 12 points for the West. Kate Lichty of Miller won the girls 3 point shootout, while Braxton Harrison of Chamberlain won the boys 3 point shootout.
The T4 Foundation in Winner will hold ‘Not Your Granny’s Bingo’ on Saturday, March 28th beginning at 7pm at the Community Connections Building in Winner. This will be a fundraiser for the T4 Foundation. Bring the whole family and your friends for a fun filled night!
