Carnival coming to Ainsworth next week

The Ainsworth Area Chamber of Commerce will host their Middle of Nowhere Carnival Days June 12th through the 14th on Ainsworth’s Main Street. The carnival will be open on Friday and Saturday from 6 to 11pm, and again on Sunday from 6 to 10pm. Wristbands will be available for purchase at the ticket booth for $30 with unlimited rides.

TUESDAY AT THE GIRLS STATE B TOURNAMENT IN BROOKINGS, BRYNN ROEHRICH OF CLARK/WILLOW LAKE WAS THE MEDALIST SHOOTING A 141, 13 SHOTS AHEAD OF JAYCE PUGH OF MILLER. MALLORY GANT OF PLATTE/GEDDES SHOT A 172 TO FINISH 22ND. CLARK/WILLOW LAKE WON THE TEAM TITLE BY 2 SHOTS OVER DELL RAPIDS ST. MARY’S. PLATTE/GEDDES WAS SEVENTH AS A TEAM.

AT THE BOYS STATE B TOURNAMENT IN BROOKINGS, AIDEN ABRAHAM OF HAMLIN WAS THE MEDALIST SHOOTING A 146, TWO SHOTS AHEAD OF KAIDEN WEINREIS OF DOLAND. WHITE RIVER’S BRYSON ONE STAR TIED FOR FIFTH SHOOTING A 152. BON HOMME WON THE TEAM TITLE BY SIX STROKES OVER PHILIP.
