Memorial Pitch Tournament to happen next month in Winner
The 16th annual Gary Kaiser Memorial Pitch Tournament will happen on Sunday, January 11th at the Winner Country Club beginning at 1pm. There is a $20 entry fee per two person team with 100 percent payback. To register, call 208-1056,
Lyman Wrestling Club needing volunteers for Mid Dakota Monster
The Lyman Wrestling Program is looking for volunteers to help out at this year’s Mid Dakota Monster Tournament that will happen January 9th and 10th in Presho. If you can help out in any which way, please call Blaine at 280-4813.
Winner Chamber Banquet coming up
The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet and awards night on Monday, January 12th at Saint Mary’s Hall from 6-9pm. Weston Frank will be the special entertainment for the night. There will be raffles and games along with awards being presented too.
Nebraska to battle Utah next week
The University of Nebraska Cornhusker Football team next week will play in the Las Vegas Bowl against Utah on December 31st kicking off at 2:30pm. The game will happen at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders.
Meetings coming up in Murdo and Winner
Ranching for Profit meetings are coming up in Murdo and Winner. On Thursday, January 8th, there will be a meeting held at the Murdo Sportsman’s Club from 9am to 4pm. On Friday, January 9th, there will be a meeting at the Holiday Inn Express in Winner from 9am to 4pm. Conversations will center around focus on creating profitable businesses with healthy land and happy families, and also evaluating woody encroachment options.
