The City of Winner will hold it’s annual Spring Cleanup the week of April 13th. The city is asking residents within city limits to please separate all items and have curbside or in the alley by Monday, April 13th. No plastic or tires will be accepted.

T4 Foundation to hold bingo next weekend
The T4 Foundation in Winner will hold ‘Not Your Granny’s Bingo’ on Saturday, March 28th beginning at 7pm at the Community Connections Building in Winner. This will be a fundraiser for the T4 Foundation. Bring the whole family and your friends for a fun filled night!
Black Hills State marches on to the Elite 8!
The Black Hills State Men’s Basketball team is headed to the Elite 8 of the Division 2 Tournament next week! Last night, Black Hills State defeated Dallas Baptist in Dallas, 76-62. Blake Volmer, formerly of Winner, had 2 rebounds in the win. Black Hills State will take on Nova Southeastern in the Elite 8 next Wednesday, March 25th beginning at 5pm in Pittsburgh.
Circus coming to Chamberlain next month!
The Big Bend Shrine Circus will be coming back to the Chamberlain Armory on April 20th and the 21st! Shows will be at 4:30 and 7:15. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Tickets can be purchased at Burke Oil, or by calling 605-730-0799.

Class to be held Saturday at the Gun Club in Winner
The Rosebud Arrow Rod and Gun Club will be hosting a South Dakota Enhance Carry Class at the gun club in Winner. It will be on Saturday, March 21st from 9:00 to 5:30. This is for first Time and Renewal Permits. Preregistration is required. Contact John at 605-842-9478 with any questions and to have a registration form e-mailed to you.
Chamberlain/Oacoma Area Chamber of Commerce Burger Battle results
The Chamberlain/Oacoma Area Chamber of Commerce has wrapped up their Burger Battle! Charly’s Restaurant & Lounge was the first place finisher. The Dakota Cuban came in second place while the Silver Dollar Bar was third. 2,399 votes were cast in the Burger Battle. Further details will be revealed in the coming days on KWYR News.
Baseball and Softball signups in Winner tomorrow
Winner will hold little league t-ball and baseball signups tomorrow from 3:30-5:30 at the Winner Elementary School Lobby. Signups are open to kids ages 4-12. Winner will also hold summer softball signups tomorrow from 5-6:30 at the Winner Elementary School Lobby. Signups are for the 8U, 10u, 12u, and 14u divisions.
