The South Dakota State and USD women will both be competing in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The Lady Jackrabbits earned a nine seed and will play 8 seeded Syracuse in San Antonio at 4:30 this Sunday. The Lady Coyotes are an eleven seed, and will play six seeded Oregon on Monday at 9pm.

2021 Governor’s Awards Nominations
The South Dakota Board of Vocational Rehabilitation, Board of Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Statewide Independent Living Council are now accepting nominations for the 2021 Governor’s Awards.
The Governor’s Awards recognize South Dakotans for their contributions to the employment of people with disabilities.
The nomination categories are:
- Distinguished Service
- Outstanding Individual with a Disability
- Outstanding Employee with a Disability
- Outstanding Private Employer (Small Employer)
- Outstanding Private Employer (Large Employer)
- Outstanding Employer (Other)
- Outstanding Transition Services
Anyone is welcome to submit a nomination. Nomination forms can be found online at https://dhs.sd.gov/rehabservices/govawards.aspx.

Winner and Gregory City Meetings Tonight
The City of Winner will have their meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Winner City Council Chambers. The City of Gregory will also meet this evening at 6:00 p.m. at Gregory City Hall. Both cities hold their regular meetings on the first and third Monday of each month.
Terry Severson Memorial Tournament to happen June 5th
The 7th annual Terry Severson Memorial Fishing Tournament will be held June 5th at Platte Creek. The Tournament will run from 7am to 2pm. For additional information, contact Leroy at 682 8052 or Jeris at 366 4966. The winners of the tournament will be based on most weight as seven fish will be weighed.
