National Junior High Rodeo Finals in Oklahoma

Hadley Peppel of Gregory County won the short go in bareback riding with a 67, and was crowned as the  reserve champion! Grace Saienga of Miller placed sixth for all around cowgirl, and she finished sixth overall in breakaway roping. Jakob Heath of Tripp County along with Grace Saienga in ribbon roping finished 13th in the short go round, and were 13th in average.

 

Wrestling

At the Scholastic Duals in Orlando, Florida over the weekend, for the South Dakota All Stars team, Ryken Orel of Winner finished with a silver medal, while his teammate, Roukyn Robbins, finished with copper. Carter Konechne of Kimball/White Lake/Platte/Geddes finished with bronze.

 

State Skeet/Trap in Pierre,

For Winner Area, Ryken Kaup was first in trap , while Derek Fenenga was third. In Doubles Trap, Derek Fenenga was first, while his teammate, Easton Shippy was third.
