Burke/Gregory victorious at Winner Invite on Saturday
The Burke/Gregory Wrestlers won the team title at Saturday’s Winner Invitational. Owen Hansen finished first at 113. Kaden Keiser of Winner Area was victorious in the 126 weight class. Jackson Eklund of Burke/Gregory was victorious at 145 while Trevor Peters of Winner Area took home first place at 152. Winner Area’s Sam Kruger was first at 160. Winner Area finished fifth as a team.

Wrestling from Friday
Wrestling from Friday, Chamberlain defeated Belle Fourche, 63-15. The Cubs also took down Douglas at home, 64-10. In Arlington, Lyman beat Sioux Valley, 36-30. Lyman also scored a team win over Warner/Northwestern, 48-15 before Kingsbury County beat Lyman, 45-30. At the Winner Quad, Winner Area was able to score dual wins over Philip Area, Parker and Kimball/White Lake-Platte/Geddes.

CPR Landowner Workshops
CPR Landowner Workshops will be taking place on January 29th, 30th and February 5th in Murdo, Winner, and Presho, respectively this and next month in South Dakota. Topics that will be covered include general CPR, continuous CPR, CPR trees, managed haying and grazing as well as South Dakota Game Fish and Parks Private Land Programs.
Chamberlain High School Play on Saturday
Chamberlain Highschool will present “The Little Prince” tomorrow, January 25th in the CHS Multipurpose Room with one showing at 4:00 p.m. and another at 7:00 p.m. Tickets costs are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
