At the Todd County Invite, Jayden Taken Alive of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte won the boys race in 17:17:14. White River’s Elijah Haukaas was fifth, while Michael Prue of Todd County was seventh and Winner Area’s Weston Foster was 11th. Aubree Miner of Cheyenne Eagle Butte won the girls race in 22:36:63. Amya Prue of White River was fourth, Alexsis Red Bird of Todd Coutny was fifth. Winner Area’s Avery Manke was 9th.

Boys Golf

The Region 3A Boys Golf Meet was held Monday at Lakeview in Mitchell. Winner Area won the team title by one stroke over Parkston, 332 to 333. Chamberlain was third as a team with a 337 score. Trysten Eide of MVP was the medalist as he carded a 75. Jalen Tideman of Winner Area was third overall with a 78. Chamberlain’s London Houska was fourth with an 80, while Cooper Craven of Winner Area shot an 80 for fifth place. Chamberlain’s Chase McQuirk was 8th with an 83 while Carter Craven of Winner Area was 9th with an 83. Todd County’s top golfer was Robert Whipple as he carded an 85 for 11th.
