We had some local golf tournaments take place over the weekend. Winning the Kevin Graesser Memorial Tournament in Burke was the team of Bryce Frank and Tyson Mayer as they shot a 64. Winning the Harley Sazue Memorial Tournament Saturday at Prairie Hills Golf Course in Mission was the team of Tony Wright, Jeremy His Law Sr, Joseph Sazue III and Jerald Jandreau as the guys shot a 61. Winning the Memorial Tournament Sunday in Ainsworth was the team of Cordell Nilson and Jake Friedrich as they carded a 142. In Junior Legion Baseball Sunday, Winner/Colome beat Clark/Willow Lake, 7-4. Chamberlain fell to Sioux Falls Post 911, 10-0. In Amateur Baseball Sunday, Platte defeated Parkston, 7-1. Winner/Colome defeated Dimock/Emery, 11-0. Wessington Springs beat Chamberlain, 5-4.
