Blood drives coming up in Murdo and Kennebec
A blood drive will be taking place in Kennebec on Friday, November 10th from 9am-1:15pm on Main Street. To make an appointment call United Blood Services at 996-3688. Murdo will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, November 14th from 12:30-5:30 at the Dan Parish Technology Center at the High School. To make an appointment call Katie at 669-2258.

Coverage from the Dakota Dome on Thursday
Chris Doski will be in Vermillion on Thursday for coverage of the 9AA High School Football State Championship game between the Gregory Gorillas and the Irene-Wakonda Eagles. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30pm. Coverage on Magic 93 will start forty minutes prior to the opening kick. Gregory will try and win its second consecutive state championship after beating Webster last season for the state championship.
Veterans lunch event coming up Thursday in Winner
Just a reminder that the Winner American legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary will be serving a free Veterans Day soup and sandwich to veterans and their spouses this week. The lunch will be served on Thursday, November 9th from 11:30am-1pm at the Winner American legion. At noon, the Winner Elementary students will have a program too!
Chamberlain to serve a community Thanksgiving Meal
A community Thanksgiving meal will be served on Thursday, November 23rd from 11am-2pm at the Chamberlain Community Center. The meal is free and will be covered by donations made from local businesses. if you feel you must give, provide a non perishable food item to be donated to the food pantry.
Sweet 16 Volleyball tomorrow!
Sweet 16 Volleyball will be happening all across the state of South Dakota tomorrow. Locally, In Wall, fourteen seeded Winner will play three seeded Belle Fourche at 7pm central. In Class B, eight seeded Burke/South Central will play at the Corn Palace against nine seeded Arlington at 7:30. In Pierre, ten seeded Kimball/White Lake will play against seven seeded Herreid/Selby Area at seven.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Runnings Friday
Runnings in Winner will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9am this morning! Stop by and join in on the celebration as from 11am-2pm you can get a hot dog, chips and a drink for just two dollars. They will also be offering up a brat, chips and drink combo for three dollars. All of the proceeds today will go to the Winner FFA.
