Winner Invite,

Chamberlain’s Dakota Munger was the medalist as he carded a 70. Winner Area’s Karson Keiser was runner up with a 78. Sandler Wiekamp of Chamberlain was third with a 79. Ryder Halligan of Winner Area was fourth with an 83. Winner Area’s Maxton Brozik tied for sixth with an 86. Chamberlain won the team title while Winner Area was second as a team.

News, Story

Power outage Tuesday evening

Earlier this evening at approximately 5:15pm several communities in Tripp County lost power.  There was a brief outage in the City of Winner.  According to a recorded message at Rosebud Electric, some of the communities affected were Colome, Ideal, Millboro, Witten and Hamill.  Several of the areas affected had power restored in approximately an hour and 10 minutes.  There appears to have been a fire at the substation south of Winner.

At the Players Invite at the Winner Country Club, the Bauer team won the Championship Flight as they finished with a 168 two day total score.

At the Dennis Donovan Memorial Golf Tournament from Saturday at the Medicine Creek Golf Course in Presho, the team of Blaine Brakke, Pat Donovan, Toby and Lyle Hullinger shot a -14 to win the tournament.
