The 98th annual running of the Howard Wood Relays came to a close Saturday afternoon in Sioux Falls. Locally, the Gregory Boys won the Class B 4 X 1 Relay! The Burke Boys placed fifth in the Class B 4 X 4 relay. In the Girls Class A 4 X 4 Relay, Winner placed sixth. In the Girls Class B 4 X 4 relay, Jones County placed eighth. In the Girls Class A 4 X 1 Relay, Winner placed eighth. In the boys discus, Lee Reiser of Platte/Geddes finished third overall. In the Girls Class B 4 X 1 relay, Burke placed eighth. In the girls Class B 1600 sprint medley, Jones County placed fourth while Gregory was seventh. In the boys class B 1600 sprint medley, Gregory was second and Burke was eighth.
