Power outage Tuesday evening
Earlier this evening at approximately 5:15pm several communities in Tripp County lost power. There was a brief outage in the City of Winner. According to a recorded message at Rosebud Electric, some of the communities affected were Colome, Ideal, Millboro, Witten and Hamill. Several of the areas affected had power restored in approximately an hour and 10 minutes. There appears to have been a fire at the substation south of Winner.

At the Players Invite at the Winner Country Club, the Bauer team won the Championship Flight as they finished with a 168 two day total score.
At the Dennis Donovan Memorial Golf Tournament from Saturday at the Medicine Creek Golf Course in Presho, the team of Blaine Brakke, Pat Donovan, Toby and Lyle Hullinger shot a -14 to win the tournament.

Cozard Memorial Library keeping busy in Chamberlain
The Cozard Memorial Library in Chamberlain has their school year programs going on! The Lego/Engineering Club is on Monday’s from 3:45-5. Preschool story time takes place on Wednesday’s from 11-11:40, and after school story time takes place from 3:45-4:30. The programs are free and no registration is required.
