The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet on Saturday night at the Platte Community Center. There will be a social hour and steak supper, with the Onpoint Band playing the tunes!

Archery League to begin tomorrow in Winner
The Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun Club in Winner will be hosting an archery league beginning tomorrow. Dates for the league are January 23rd, 30th, February 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 6-8pm, and the cost is $20. If you have questions, call Tim at 830-0220.

Gun Show set to happen this weekend in Spencer
The Spencer Gun Show will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Spencer Community Hall in Spencer, Nebraska. Join them on Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and again on Sunday from 9 to 3. The cost is $5 at the door, and ages 12 and under are free.

SDSU Extension to host free training in Winner tomorrow
SDSU Extension will host a free private applicator training session in Winner tomorrow from 1:30 to 4:30. The training will be available both online and at multiple in-person locations statewide. In Winner, the session will be hosted at the Winner Regional Extension Center at 325 S. Monroe Street.

Blood Drive in Winner this week
A two day blood drive will be held in the city of Winner later this week. The first date is Wednesday, January 21st, from 10am to 3pm at the Winner City Office. If you cannot make it to the blood drive on the 21st, they will hold another blood drive on Thursday, January 22nd at the Winner City Office from 1 to 6pm.
