The Mid Dakota Fair will take place at the Tripp County Fairgrounds July 29th through August 2nd. Events will include the 4-H Rocket Launch on July 30th, Stem Challenge on July 31st, The 4-H Swine, Sheep and Market Goat Shows will all happen on August 1st. The Breeding Beef and Market Beef Shows are some of the many things that will happen on August 2nd.

At the Men’s and Women’s Open Sunday at the Bassett Country Club, Keian Fischer won the men’s championship flight as he shot a 73. Amanda Murphy won the women’s flight as she carded a 94.

Avon won the 7th place game over Gregory, 10-0. The Championship went to Bruce as they defeated Bon Homme, 6-5
10u state baseball in Webster, Platte/Geddes won their third place game over Groton, 8-4. Parkston won the championship game over Canistota, 4-1.

Dell rapids Light Blue over Tri Valley for the championship, 1-0
10u state softball in Sioux Falls
The Burke Royals won the championship over the Shock, 9-1. Platte/Geddes finished 8th . Platte/Geddes fell to Scotland, 9-8.
12u state softball
Gregory won the championship over Sturgis, 7-4.
14u state softball in Sioux Falls. Clearfield placed third. Clearfield beat Redfield, 17-7. Clearfield then beat Volga, 10-9. Clearfield beat Mitchell, 6-3, before Redfield beat Clearfield, 11-3. Redfield won the championship over the Flash 10-5.
