Jimmy Rogers becomes the new head coach at Washington State
Former South Dakota State Head Football Coach Jimmy Rogers has accepted the head coaching position at Washington State. Rogers posted a record of 27 wins and 3 losses in his two seasons as head coach for the Jackrabbits. Rogers will take over a Washington State program that went 8-5 this season and played in the Holiday Bowl.
Festival of Trees ongoing through December 31st in Brule County
The Chamberlain/Oacoma Area Chamber of Commerce is holding their Festival of Trees for the entire month of December! The theme is “Christmas through the Decades”. You can pick up a tree map at the Chamber Office, and vote on your favorite tree!

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual banquet on January 10th at St. Mary’s Hall. The theme will be boots and bling. Doors will open at 5:30pm. Winner’s Emmy Kaiser will be the entertainment for the evening.

Carter Coyote Classic set for this weekend
The annual Carter Coyote Classic will take place on Saturday, December 21st. A rules meeting and calcutta will take place tonight at 7pm at Red Hills Last Chance. It’s $40 per two person team.
