At the Madison Invite,
Kaitlin Strain of St. Thomas More was the medalist as she shot an 82. Chamberlain’s Trey Speer finished runner up with an 83. St. Thomas More won the team title by four strokes over Vermillion. Chamberlain was sixth as a team.
At the Valentine Boys Golf Invite on Thursday,
Logan Brabec of O’Neill was the medalist as he shot a 73. Keian Fischer of North Central was runner up with a 75. Tanner Two Strike of Valentine was third with a 77. O’Neill won the team title by 10 strokes over Valentine, North Central was third.

Lincoln Kranig of Kimball/White Lake won the boys 100 in 11.42. Kranig also won the boys 200 in 23.00. Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips won the girls 400 in 1:01:53. Phillips also won the two mile in 11:54:78. Chamberlain’s Isaac Shepherd won the boys 400 in 52.12. Shepherd also won the boys javelin with a throw of 159-10. Alex Ekstrum of KWL won the boys 800 in 2:18:62. Darron Moeller of KWL won the boys mile in 5:11:32. He also won the boys 2 mile in 10:32:50. Youth Fishing Tournament set for May 23rd in Murdo
Murdo will hold an annual youth fishing tournament on Saturday, May 23rd at the Murdo North Dam. It’s open to kids ages 4 to 12. Registration will begin at 9am, and the tournament starts at 10am. Lunch will for all who attend.

At the West Central Invite in Hartford,
Madison Bushkofsky of Flandreau was the medalist shooting a 77. Trey Speer of Chamberlain placed eighth shooting an 82. Gracie Root was Winner Area’s top golfer as she carded a 95 for 25th. Vermillion won the team title by three strokes over Sioux Falls Christian. Chamberlain was sixth as a team while Winner Area tied for eighth.

Derek Brueggeman of Miller was the medalist in the boys tournament as he carded a 79. William Blankartz of Mobridge/Pollock was runner up. Bodie Whitney of Jones County finished third with an 83. Miller won the team title by five strokes over Sully Buttes.
Jayce Pugh of Miller was the medalist in the girls tournament as she shot an 80. Tayah Anderson was Jones County’s top golfer as she shot a 105. Miller won the team title by 20 strokes over Selby Area.
