Open Skating sessions happening in Colome
Skatetowne in Colome has begin open skating sessions for the season! They are open from 2 to 4pm each Sunday afternoon. The cost is $3 per skater. If you would like to book a private party, call Betsy Shippy at 842-5621.
Amateur Baseball Association to hold banquet this evening
The South Dakota Amateur Baseball Association will hold their Hall of Fame Banquet this evening in Salem. Social hour is at 4pm, meal at 5 and the banquet will begin at about 6pm. Brad Peters, formerly of Winner, will be inducted into the Umpires Association Hall of Fame at the banquet. Peters had the honor to umpire in numerous state baseball tournaments — including 12 Amateur, seven American Legion, eight high school and eight VFW Teener state tournaments.

Blood Drive coming up Wednesday in Winner
There will be a blood drive at the Winner High School Auxiliary Gym this coming Wednesday, November 5th. The drive will run from 10:15am to 3pm. If you would like to signup in advance, you can do so by going to lifeservebloodcenter.org.

Fall Bazaar coming up in White River
The White River United Methodist Church will hold a fall bazaar on Saturday, November 15th from 5-7pm at the Catholic Hall. They will be serving soup, sandwiches and dessert for a free will offering. There will be raffle items up for grabs, along with pie and a themed basket auction. There will be a kids art activity table too.
Pie and soup supper set for Sunday in Clearfield
A benefit pie and soup supper will happen this Sunday, November 2nd from 4-7pm at the Clearfield Hall. Stop by for delicious homemade pie and soup! There will also be a country store with all kinds of homemade goods and a silent auction.
