Day 2 of the Medicine Creek Golf Classic in Presho was called off Sunday after a couple of holes due to the weather. Blaine Brakke of Presho did hit a hole in one in the rain on Sunday on hole 8 from 130 yards out with a pitching wedge. The team of Jackie Rotert, Leah Williamson, and Courtney Bartscher were declared as the champions as they finished with a 52 back on Saturday.
At the Alumni 2 person scramble Sunday at the Bassett Country Club, the team of Jake and George Friedrich won the championship flight as they shot a 63.

State High School Rodeo in Ft. Pierre
In Bull Riding, Taos Weborg of Gregory County qualified for Nationals as he finished fourth with 43 points. In team roping, the team of Coy and Teegan Shelbourn of Tripp County finished in first place with 72 points and qualified for Nationals. In Steer Wrestling, Abe Kaiser of Tripp County qualified for Nationals as he finished fourth with 56.5 points. In tie down roping, Rope Reis of Reliance finished fourth with 56 points and qualified for Nationals. Nationals will happen July 19th through the 25th in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In the second round of tie-down roping, Reven Moss of Tripp County was second. Ash Kaiser of Tripp County was third. In the second round of steer wrestling, Ash Kaiser was third. In the second round of breakaway roping, Bailey Shelbourn of Tripp County was fifth. In the second round of team roping, Tripp County’s Teegan and Coy Shelbourn finished 11th. Taking a look at short go qualifiers for today, for team roping, qualifying were: Coy and Teegan Shelbourn, along with Synch Ness and Oakley Schenefeld of Tripp County. Qualifying in bull riding was Apollo Willuweit of Tripp County. Qualifying for Tripp County in tie down roping are Reven Moss and Ash Kaiser. Qualifying for Tripp County in steer wrestling was Abe Kaiser of Tripp County.
