The T4 Foundation in Winner will host a fall festival on Sunday, October 5th at the Winner City Park from 11:30am to 2pm. There will be pumpkin decorating, food vendors setup, photo ops, crafts and plenty more to explore that day.

At the McCook Central/Montrose Invite Tuesday in Salem, Faith Wiese of Flandreau won the girls race in 18:21:04. Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips placed third, while her teammate Ava Schindler was fifth and Kylah Biggins of Chamberlain was eighth. Dylan Gerdes of Madison won the boys race in a time of 17:06:85. Taiton Pease of Chamberlain was sixth.
At the Gregory Invite on Tuesday, Luke Barreto of Gregory won the boys race in a time of 18:14:78. Elijah Haukaas of White River was runner up. Carter Peppel of Winner placed fifth, while his teammate, Matthew Calhoon was sixth. Elle Hlavac of Scotland won the girls race in a time of 22:01:78. Abigail Engel of Gregory was runner up. Cattlemen’s Night Out coming up next week
A Cattlemen’s Night Out will take place at Elevate Agronomics in Winner on September 11th. A dinner will be served at 6pm. The program featuring numerous different speakers will start at approximately 6:30pm.
2 Vehicle accident in Colome
On Tuesday afternoon around 4pm, Tripp County Sheriff, South Dakota Highway Patrol, Tripp County Ambulance and Winner and Colome Fire Departments responded to a 2 vehicle accident. One vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic causing the collision. 2 people were taken to the Gregory Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Results of the Winner American Legion’s Labor Day Parade
The Winner American Legion held their annual Labor Day Parade on Monday. The parade float winners were the ball teams to split the total prize money between the American Legion, Winner Gold, Winner Purple, Clearfield Sandburs Softball and Clearfield Sandburs Baseball. The antique vehicle winner was the Southern Belle Cattlewoman Association.

The T4 Foundation of Winner will hold their annual Labor Day Kickball Tournament this afternoon! The event will begin at 1pm and will be taking place at McDonald’s Park. Come out and have some fun after the parade, and cheer on your favorite team!
