The Ainsworth Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their third annual gala on Saturday, January 25th at the Ainsworth Conference Center. Social Hour will begin at 5:30pm, and a prime rib dinner will be served at 6pm. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by calling 402-961-1790.

DB’s Bait & Tackle in Winner will be holding their customer appreciation weekend January 24th through the 26th! They will have 10 up to 50 percent off the entire store, excluding ice shacks and ice augers. Door prizes will be up for grabs, and the first 15 people to purchase $20 of Rapala will receive a free cap on Friday. Food and drinks will be provided Friday as well from 5-8pm.

The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce has set the date for their 29th annual fishing tournament. The 2025 tournament will take place on May 3rd. There will be over $20,000 in payouts this year. Registration will open February 1st. Further information can be found at plattesd.org.
