City Wide Rummage Sales set for next month in Platte
Platte will hold their city wide rummage sales on June 6th and the 7th. To be listed on the map, the cost is $10. If you would like to be apart of it, stop by the Platte Chamber Office or email plattechamber@midstatesd.net. Listings are due by Monday, June 2nd.
Awards night in Gregory tonight
Gregory will hold their annual awards night this evening beginning at 6pm in the Gregory Auditorium. Things will get kicked off with a potluck supper at 6. After the meal, there will be a presentation of participants in sporting activities this past year, along with letter winners and individual awards presented by each varsity coach.
Winner Legion Auxiliary to put poppies on crosses on Tuesday
On Tuesday, May 13th, the Winner Legion Auxiliary will be putting poppies on all the crosses that will be put on veterans’ graves. The poppies will be done at 1pm at the Avenue of Flags building, which is 2 blocks north of First Fidelity Bank. Please come and help if you are able.
Bittersweet to play at Carlock tonight
They are back at it with another great band tonight at Carlock Dance Hall! Bittersweet will entertain the crowd from 8pm to midnight. If you would like to make a reservation for a table, it’s $5 for the night, or $50 for the entire season. To make a reservation, call Dennis at 835-8034.

Fundraiser for Hilltop Drive Inn to take place on Saturday
A free will donation fundraising meal will take place at the Gregory Auditorium Community Room this Saturday, May 10th from 11am to 7pm. Proceeds will go towards the Hilltop Drive Inn Theater in Gregory.
