Just a reminder that the Tripp County Commissioners will be holding a special meeting this morning beginning at 10am. The meeting will happen inside the Commissioners Room at the Tripp County Courthouse to discuss South Dakota legislative issues with Rocky Blare and Lee Qualm.

We encourage everyone to come and checkout the Nutcracker in Winner, located on the east side of the former Nelson Electronics Building. They have many unique items like: wine racks, wall decor, Christmas items, barnwood wall decor and shelving, different types of wood decor, small Christmas trees, backlit cross, reindeer, special crossed made of wood, memory box, toys for the kids and flowerpot holders. The Nutcracker will be open 12-6 Monday through Saturday, and from 10-2 on Saturday.

Coming up on Monday, December 17th, will be the Gregory Elementary School Concert starting at 7pm at the Gregory Auditorium. Come out and enjoy the sounds of the season! Bankwest in Gregory will hold a Holiday Open House on December 19th and December 20th with refreshments and door prizes for you to sign up for both days next week!

A fun night is planned for this Saturday at the Black Lab on Main Street in Winner! The Outlaw DJ will be playing your favorite tunes tomorrow night from 8:30 pm to closing! Get there early for their happy hour specials and enjoy the NFL games that will be taking place on Saturday as well at the Black Lab, Winner’s fun spot on Main Street!

The Gregory/Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Christmas cookie bake-off and sale this weekend! The event will take place on Saturday from 1:30 to 4pm at the Dixon Town Hall in Gregory. To enter, send an email to gregoryareachamber@gmail.com. There will be samples for the public to try out and you can purchase cookies too!

The movie ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ will be showing this weekend at the Hipp Theatre in Gregory! Show times will be at 7:30pm on Friday, December 14th, Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th. The movie is rated PG-13 and is a biography, drama, music movie on the rock band, Queen.

DB’s Bait & Tackle in Winner will be holding a Men’s Night on Monday, December 17th! Brats and beer will be served from 5-8pm. All Bass Pro labeled items will be 50 percent off on the 17th. There will be door prizes you can sign up and A.B.U. Garcia rod and reel combos will be sale priced at $159 that night so be sure you make plans to attend!

Keep in mind that the Winner Regional Healthcare Center’s hospital entrance has been temporarily relocated this week while necessary safety improvements are being made. They ask that you please enter and exit for all hospital needs through the Long Term Care Center. They thank everyone for their cooperation.
