The Reliance Methodist Church will hold their annual bazaar at the Methodist Hall in Reliance tonight from 5 to 7pm. Stop by and enjoy roast beef, fried chicken, ham and more. Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet coming up this weekend
The annual Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet will be held this Saturday, October 27th beginning at 5pm at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, Nebraska. Over twenty guns will be given away. For ticket information, call 402-389-0604. You can also purchase tickets at the door. and everyone is welcome to attend the fun event.
Blood drives happening in Colome and Bonesteel this week
The City of Colome will be having a community blood drive this Wednesday, October 24th from 2:30 to 5:30pm at the Colome American Legion. To make an appointment, call Vicki Nelson at 842-0270. The Bonesteel Community will host a blood drive on Thursday, October 25th from 9am to 1pm at the Bonesteel Community Center. If you have any questions, contact Dennis Leonard at 654-2202.
Veterans Day Program coming up in Winner
Winner High School Student Council will be having a Veterans Day Program on November 12th starting at 10am. They are putting together a power point for the program and would love to get any veterans pictures for the program. Please drop off veterans photos to Mona Lacompte at Winner High School no later than Friday, November 2nd.

Numerous Hunters breakfasts to happen this weekend
There are many hunters breakfasts that will be happening in our area this weekend for the pheasant opener. The Witten Volunteer Firemen will host their annual hunters breakfast this Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 11am each day at the Witten Community Hall. The breakfast will be held again next weekend on the 27th and 28th. The 8th annual Jones County Ambulance pancake and omelette breakfast will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Murdo Ambulance Building. The annual Tripp County 4-H Hunter’s Breakfast will happen this Saturday and Sunday from 7-11am at the Tripp County Fairgrounds inside the 4-H Center. Gregory Lanes will also be open for breakfast this Saturday and Sunday beginning at 7am.
Spook House coming to Winner on Halloween Night!
A Spook House will be setup at the Winner Community Hall on Halloween night from 7-10pm! Everyone is welcome to attend. Parents who bring children are asked to stay with them until they leave. Dan and company will still be having the spook house here in Winner.
2 Hearts Walk and Run to happen on Sunday
The 1st annual 2 Hearts Walk and Run will be held this Sunday, October 21st beginning at 1pm in Winner. Help make a difference in the community for those who suffer from depression. This event is in honor of Suicide Prevention Week. After the walk and run, everyone will meet at the Winner Middle School Gym for a lunch and a speech given by Nanette Eagle Star and Kansas Middletent. 4-H Hunter's Breakfast set for this weekend
The annual Tripp County 4-H Hunter’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, October 20th and on Sunday, October 21st from 7-11am both days inside the Tripp County 4-H Center at the Fairgrounds. The breakfast is all you can eat and the menu includes: pancakes, ham and eggs, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards support of the 4-H programs in Tripp County.
