The annual Witten Volunteer Fire Department’s beef and pork feed and fireworks display will take place on Tuesday, July 3rd starting at 5:30pm. The cost for the feed is just five dollars per plate with all of the proceeds going to help fund the great family event. Fireworks will start at dusk on Tuesday night as they celebrate the Fourth of July!

The Winner Drive-In will be showing the movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, this Friday, June 29th, through Monday, July 2nd! The movie is rated PG-13. Get to the theatre early for your spot and let the kids play on the playground and grab your delicious food at the concession stand! The movie will get underway at dusk.

The second annual “Fishing for a Cure” Ladies Fishing Tournament will happen in Chamberlain on Saturday, July 7th. The ladies are seeking contributions to help defray the costs associated with the event so that all the funds can assist any community member that is battling cancer. Donations may be monetary or items for their raffle and auction. All funds raised will stay local and can be used for assistance defray the cost for gas, food, lodging or bill payments of any kind. River City Friday Nights will return this Friday on Main Street in Chamberlain! On the 29th, it will be ‘Military/Public Service Night’. Stop by beginning at 6pm for great live music, food, the beer/wine garden, free games for adults and kids and plenty more! Coming up on Wednesday, July 18th, a blood drive will take place in White River at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall from 1:15-5pm. To make an appointment call Donna at 259-3372. Don’t forget that a Soil Health Field Day will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at the George S. Michelson Building in Murdo. Registration will start at 9:30am. The Gregory After Prom Party Committee will be hosting a car wash on Tuesday, June 26th from 5:30-7:30pm at the Buche Foods parking lot. They are asking for donations of a minimum of ten dollars per car. All of the proceeds will go toward the expenses to host the Gregory After Prom Party.

They will be back at it with team roping this Saturday at the Frontier Arena in Colome! Entries will close at 3:30 and roping will get underway at 4pm sharp.
