Community Connections of Winner will have one final night for you to checkout their haunted house! Their theme is “The Painted Faces of Fear”, and it will be open to the public Thursday night from 5:30 to 8:30pm at the Connection Building. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Todd County High School will hold a Halloween Dance this Friday, November 1st from 6-9pm at Ben Reifel Auditorium. There will be a costume contest during the dance and is being sponsored by the Student Council.

There will be a blood drive on Tuesday, November 26th at the White River High School Gym. The blood drive will run from 12:30 to 3pm. If you would like to schedule an appointment, call Morgan Kinsley at 605-259-3136.

The Lake Platte Haunted Trail is open each Saturday this month in Platte! The trail will be open October 26th and also on November 2nd from 7:30-11pm.  There is a  $15 entry fee to check it out, and cash and Venmo payments will be accepted. The trail is located two miles west of the four way stop in Platte, then a mile north on  385th avenue, and then a mile west.

The Witten Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual hunter’s breakfast once again this weekend! It will be held on October 27th and 28th. The breakfast will run from 7 to 11am each of those days at the Witten Community Hall.

The Hometown Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair will take place this Saturday, October 26th in Springview! The event will run from 10am to 3pm. 40 plus vendors will be setup at the High School and Grade School Gym. Hog Trough from Valentine will be catering the food, and Stella’s Sweets from Ainsworth will be bringing their specialty coffee!
