At the Todd County Invite in Mission on Tuesday, Elijah Haukaas of White River won the boys race in a time of 17:22:4. Noah Vanderwalker of White River placed fourth while Weston Foster of Winner was fifth. Sienna Neck of Todd County won the girls race in 23:19:4. Alexsis Red Bird of Todd County was runner up, while Avery Manke of Winner was third, and Kylee VanZandbergen of Winner was fourth.

The Region 3A Boys Golf Tournament was held Monday at Lakeview Golf Course in Mitchell. Harper Schnabel of Aberdeen Roncalli was the medalist shooting a 4 under par, 68. Chamberlain’s Chase McQuirk was runner up with a 1 under par, 71. Carter Craven of Winner was fifth overall shooting a 76. Brody Calhoon of Winner placed seventh as he carded a 76 as well. Winner’s Cooper Craven and Jalen Tideman finished eighth and ninth respectively as both guys shot a 78. Roncalli won the team title by two strokes over Winner. Chamberlain was fourth. The State A Boys Golf Tournament will happen next week on October 5th and the 6th at Lakeview in Mitchell.

Berklee Mills of Platte/Geddes won the girls race in a time of 20:57:2. Ella Holter of Platte/Geddes placed fifth while Clara Steffen of Burke was tenth.

At the Pentagon Tournament in Sioux Falls, Winner went 1-3 on the day. Winner fell to Rapid City Christian, Dell Rapids St. Mary’s and Wagner each in two sets. Winner was able to get a two set victory over Hill City.

At the Wessington Springs Tournament, Jones County over Wessington Springs in two sets. Jones County over James Valley Christian in two sets. Jones County fell to West Central in two sets. Howard over Lower Brule in two sets. James Valley Christian over Lower Brule in two sets. TDA over Lower Brule in two sets.
