At the Jones County Invite in Murdo on Wednesday, Jetta McDaniel of Philip won the girls race in a time of 20:29:7. BreAna Aske of Jones County placed sixth, while Sienna Neck of Todd County was seventh. Elijah Haukaas of White River won the boys race in a time of 17:44:2. Kaden Running Horse of White River was third, while Hayden Hand and Cadyn Brave Heart of White River finished fourth and fifth respectivly, while Michael Prue of Todd County finished sixth.

The One person, Big Cup Tournament was moved up from Sunday to Saturday this weekend at the Bassett Country Club. Jake Friedrich won the championship flight shooting a 55.

Volleyball

At the Big Dakota Conference Tournament on Saturday in Fort Pierre, Winner won the championship. Winner defeated Stanley County in two sets, before they got victories over McLaughlin, Todd County and then defeated Mobridge-pollock in three sets to win the tournament championship.

Competitive Dance

At the Douglas Invite, Winner was the grand champion as they finished with 446 total points. Lakota Tech was second with 387 points.

Golf

At the Ryder Cup Tournament at the Murdo Golf Course, Presho defeated Murdo, 57-15. Presho defeated Philip, 52-20, and Philip defeated Murdo, 47-25.

Cross Country

At the Clyde Cotton Invite in Huron,  Peyton VanDeest of Spearfish won the girls race in 18:16:54. Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips came in fifth. Cole Reilly of Washington won the boys race in 15:38:63.

At the Gettysburg Invite, Darron Moeller of Kimball/White Lake won the boys race in 16:47:13. Isabella Galbraith of Ipswich won the girls race in 18:38:06. Ali McCord of Kimball/White Lake finished eighth overall.
