Winner Chicken Dinner will be open tomorrow for Memorial Day. Their hours will tomorrow will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  They are also encouraging pre orders for Monday.  One can call 605-842-1200 to place orders.

The Gregory police department will be hosting a bike rodeo on Saturday, June 10^th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as an effort to promote bike and helmet safety in the community.  The bike rodeo will take place right by the police department and they’ll be inspecting bikes and registering them with the police department, handing out helmets and providing drinks and snacks.

The Prairie View Gospel Barn in Gregory will host The Ball Brothers on Sunday, June 4th. Doors open at 5pm and the show begins at 6:30 pm. Tickets are 30  dollars in advance or 35 dollars the day of. For tickets one can call Geoff at 605-830-1545.

Winner Regional Health will host their annual community health fair on Friday, June 2nd.  The fair will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Winner Regional Health.  There will be several community booths, free blood draw labs, and a free breakfast.

Buche Ace Hardware in Winner will host The Stars and Stripes BBQ Party on Saturday, May 26th from  11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They’ll be serving up hot dogs, brats, chips and a drink at no cost.  This will be an opportunity for people to view several top line brands of grills on display and more.

Ainsworth Schools will be offering a summer lunch program starting June 5th to ensure that area youth have access to meals.  This program is for kids ages 1 through 18.  Meals will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the high school.

There will be a 5K Run/Walk Benefit for Meagan Blare this Saturday, May 27th at the Tripp County 4-H Center.  Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. and the race will follow at 8:00 p.m.  Entry fee will include meal and a t-shirt .

Lennox Lapsley’s Running For Healthy Hearts Half Marathon takes place Saturday, July 15th in Millboro, S.D.  Runners and walkers can sign up at www.lennoxjacklapsleyfoundation.com.  Proceeds from the race will be donated to University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital to help babies with congenital heart defects.
