Cowboys ready to battle Colman-Egan tomorrow night

The quarterfinal round of the 9B Football Playoffs will take place tomorrow night. The two seeded Colome Cowboys (9-0) will take on the 7-2 Colman-Egan Hawks. Colman-Egan blew past Bison, 60-10 in the first round of the playoffs last week. The win snapped a two game losing streak for the Hawks, who fell to Castlewood, 29-16 and then to Arlington/Lake Preston, 34-12 to end the regular season. The Cowboys continued their dominant play on the season in the first round of the playoffs last week when they beat Gayville/Volin, 62-8.  Colome is averaging over 300 rushing yards per game on the season and have had three running backs rush for 500 or more yards on the year. The winner of Thursday night’s game in Colome will move on to the semifinal round to play either Wall or Castlewood on Friday, November 2nd.
