Yesterday results:
In the MCM Invitational that took place at McCook Central. Winner, Chamberlain and Burke all took part in the cross country meet. Kade Watson for Winner ran the fastest time at 16 minutes and 44 seconds. Dominic Santiago from Chamberlain finished 2nd. Jackson Liewer of Burke was 7th followed by Declan Tveit of Chamberlain. Kylar Meek and Dawson Phillips of Winner also had nice meets, along with Jackson Bauld and Washake Vaughn of Burke. Flandreau was the top team that raced while Winner came in second.
On the girls side of the MCM Invitational, Ally Hough of Chamberlain was the top runner. Sidda Schuyler of Winner finished 4th overall. Kinsey Evans of Chamberlain finished 5th. From Burke Hallie Person finished 7th. Saige Schuyler and Leila Balsiger of Winner both finished in the top 15 as well. Ella Phillips of Chamberlain also finished in the top 15. Chamberlain was the top team at the meet with Winner taking second.
The Gorilla Cross Country Meet also took placed yesterday in Gregory. Kelly Sondgeroth of Platte-Geddes was the top overall runner for the girls varsity meet. Emma Thomas of Gregory came in second followed by Kaite Holter and Calli Slaba of Platte-Geddes. Sierra Recountre of Gregory finished 5th. Alyssa Jones was Lyman’s top runner coming in 8th place.
On the boys side Caden Tegethoff of Platte-Geddes was the top runner. Brad Lebeda of Lyman came in third place. Gavin Gustad of Platte-Geddes finished 6th overall. Wyatt Olson of Jones Co. finished 9th overall. Bryson Muirhead also finished top 10 for Lyman. Luke Sinclair and Carson Klundt were Gregory’s top runners in the meet.

Chamberlain beat Stanley Co. in 5 sets.
Colome Volleyball beat Crow Creek in 5 sets.
Ethan defeated Kimball-White Lake 3-0.
Jones County beat wall 3-0
Platte-Geddes- Defeated Todd Co. 3-0.
The Minnesota Twins defeated the Boston Red Sox 6-5 last night. Their lead in the AL Central has increased to 6.5 games.
