Election Day

We have Primary elections taking place in our area today.  Here is what will be on the ballots.

In Tripp County there will be a Republican race for County Commissioner in District 1. Candidates are Mark Winter and Ray Hannett. There will also be a Republican primary for Tripp County Lamro Consolidated precinct committeeman and Committeewoman. Candidates for committeeman are Jeff Krowlikowski, Brad Assman and Travis Tobin. Candidates for committeewoman are Dondee Krowlikowski and Erin Tobin.

The Chamberlain School District will have an election for 2 seats on the School Board. On the ballot are Keith Reuer, Jerri Ann Haak, Sephanie Bolman-Altamirano and Bart Randall.

Jones County will also have an election for a School Board member. On that ballot will be Jared Dowling, Latonya Erikson, and Ann Geisler.

Also in Jones County they will have an election for Commissioner in Ward 1 and Ward 3. Running in Ward 1 are Barry Valburg and Lori Waldron and running in Ward 3 are Paul Erikson, Travis Larson, and Marty Roghair. There is also an election for Jones County Sheriff. Running for Sheriff are Rich Sylva and John Weber.

Lyman County will vote for County Commissioner at Large. 3 seats are available and on the ballot are James Kotz, Michelle Langenbau, LeRoy Ellis, Ryan Huffman, Steve Perry, Zane Reis and James Schaefer.

In Todd County the will elect 2 school board members. On the ballot are Sandra Carolyn Mancini, Dwight Damian Spotted Tail, Marty Lou Jones, Shelley Lynne Means, Michelle P Allen, and Melissa Jo Whipple.

Also in Todd County is an election for County Commissioner in Ward 1 and Ward 5. On the ballot for Ward 1 are Daniel J. Gudgel, Richard Dean Stiefel, Marshal R. Tinant, and in Ward 5 are Michael John Valandra and Patsy A. Valandra.

In District 21 there will be a Democratic race for Representative. Running are Brian L. Jorgensen, Faith Spotted Eagle and Anna Kerner Anderson.

In District 26A for there will be a Democratic primary election for State Representative. On the ballot are Shawn Bordeaux and Troy “Luke” Lunderman.
