KELO News is reporting that nine individuals died in a plane crash Saturday approximately at  12:30 p.m. in Brule County which is south of Chamberlain according to Brule County State’s Attorney Theresa Maule.

Among the deceased are the pilot and two children.  There were twelve people on board the plane. Three survivors were taken to Sioux Falls and are currently in critical condition.

The plane had left Chamberlain and was headed to Idaho Falls, Idaho.
