Results from Friday

Girls High School Golf took place on Friday at the Winner Country Club. Devan Dougherty of Winner Area was the medalist as she won in a one hole playoff matchup with Chamberlain’s Alexis Cronk.  Both girls ended up shooting a 95 for the day. Winner Area’s Kelbi Meiners was third, Tessa Mann of Winner Area was fourth, Brennan Bachmann of Winner Area was fifth, Chamberlain’s Natalie Kelsey was sixth, Megan Brozik of Winner Area was seventh, Ceci Watson of Winner Area was eighth and Gracie Root of Winner Area was ninth. In Tyndall, Adisyn Indahl of Burke was the medalist as she carded an 83. Calli Davis and Olivia Bull of Burke finished seventh and eighth respectively while Ava Sargent of Burke was tenth. Burke won the team title as they finished with 294 points. In Track and Field from Friday in Kimball, Chamberlain won the girls team title with 151 points, Kimball/White Lake was runner up and Burke was third. Stanley County won the boys team title with 137.5 points. Burke was runner up and Kimball/White Lake came in third as a team. At the Ethan/Parkston Meet on Friday, Ethan/Parkston won the boys team title while Platte/Geddes was second and Gregory finished fifth. On the girls side, Ethan/Parkston won the team title, Platte/Geddes was third and Gregory was fifth. In Club Baseball, Winner/Colome was able to defeat Hanson, 2-1.
