The Region 3A Golf Tournament was held inn Pierre yesterday. Individually, Cameron Caldwell of Chamberlain was the top overall golfer shooting a 73. Drayton Priebe of Chamberlain came in 2nd with a 77. Thomas Denoyer of St. Francis came in 4th with an 80, Bryce Hammer of Todd Co. was 5th with an 81 and Gage Watson of Winner shot an 87. Week 6 of high school football is live on KWYR on Friday Night. KWYR will have Winner at Chamberlain on Country 1260 and on Magic 93.7 Gregory will be playing Bon Homme. Both Games have a pregame at 6:30 and kickoff at 7 PM.
SDSU Jack Rabbits will face off against Southern Illinois to begin conference play on Saturday. prelude to the pregame will begin at 12:50 with pregame at 1PM and kickoff at 2 PM.
The Central South Dakota Invitational Ranch Rodeo will be taking place on Sunday at 2 PM with Calcutta event to follow at the Murdo Rodeo Arena. Winning teams from each ranch rodeo in Central South Dakota will be invited to join the action. Saddles and cash prizes for winning team.
The River City Fall Brawl will be happening on Saturday October 5th at 2 PM in Chamberlain. There is a $40 entry fee and there is prizes for first second and third place for both full weld and stock weld classes.
Nebraska football looks to bounce back after falling to Ohio State. The Cornhuskers will be back home for their homecoming game against Northwestern. Pregame will start at 2:15 with kickoff at 3 PM.
