In little league baseball Friday, the Winner Gold Rookies were able to hold off Winner Purple by a final score of 6-5. The Lyman Minors beat Colome, 11-3. The Lyman Majors scored a win over Colome last night, 12-3. In a high scoring game Friday, Winner/Colome defeated Platte/Geddes in legion baseball, 11-10 at Leahy Bowl last night. The Royals scored five times in the first and then six runs in the fifth. Drew DeMers had quite the night at the plate as he drove in four runs and Nick Lantz drove in three. Trevor Sprik drove in four for Platte/Geddes and Riley Hoffman had a couple of hits.
