In Club Baseball last night, Winner/Colome was able to get to St. Thomas More’s pitching staff early and often as the Royals scored a 10-6 victory at Leahy Bowl. In amateur baseball last night, the Winner/Colome Pheasants won their season opener in four innings over 4-Corners, 17-2.

At the girls class ‘B’ golf classic on Monday, Burke/South Central won the team title with a 277 score. Platte/Geddes was second with a 305. Taylee Indahl of Burke/South Central was the top golfer as she carded an 81. Tressa Bull of Burke/South Central was runner up as she shot a 92. Carly Sprik of Platte/Geddes placed fifth with a 97.
On the boys side in Mitchell, Aberdeen Christian won the team title with a 246 score. Platte/Geddes came in second with a 252 team score. Judah Aderhold of Aberdeen Christian shot a tournament best 74 while Brody Boltjes of Platte/Geddes was second with a 74. JJ Beck of Gregory was third with a 78.

At the West Central Invite yesterday, Kate Wynja of Sioux Falls Christian was victorious as she shot a 73. Avery Larson was Chamberlain’s top golfer as she carded a 99. Sioux Falls Christian won the team title with a final score of a 356.

In boys golf Monday, West Holt won the North Central Invite as they finished with a 349 team score. Valentine was runner up with a 351.
