The State High School Wrestling Tournament  came to a close Saturday night in Rapid City. Locally, at 106 lbs, Kasen Konstanz of Kimball/ White Lake/ Platte/ Geddes defeated Maxton Brozik of Winner Area in the championship match. At 126, Owen Hansen of Burke/Gregory won a state championship as he defeated Jadyn Coller of Philip Area. At 145, Kaden Keiser of Winner Area won the championship featured match over Lane Miller of Howard. At 170, Sam Kruger of Winner Area took down Luke Richardson of Canton in the championship match. At 182, Spencer Hanson of Kimball/ White Lake / Platte/Geddes beat Jacobi Krouse of McCook Central/Montrose in the championship match. At 220, Canton’s Marshall Baldwin beat Preston Norrid of Winner Area in the championship match. At 285, Quinten Christensen of Wessington Springs beat Achilles Willuweit of Winner Area in the championship match. In the Class A Tournament, Gabe Skustad of Chamberlain won his 145 lb championship match over Tyson Johnson of Pierre.
