The Jones County/White River Wolverine football team will kickoff their season tonight out west when they take on Rapid City Christian. The Wolverines look to build off their 2-6 season last year. Ron McLaughlin’s Comets went 0-8 in 2016 and look to start their season with a victory on their home field. Jones County/White River will be road warriors at the beginning of the season as three of their first four games will be played on the road.
