Valentine Memorial Cruise to happen on Saturday
The Valentine Classic Motor Club will be hosting a Memorial Cruise in honor of pasted founding members on Saturday, June 20th. The inaugural cruise will travel from Valentine to Springview, then Ainsworth, Wood Lake and back to Valentine. For more information contact Chase Olson at 402-322-5248.

River Regional Rodeo Results
Over 100 contestants competed at the Tripp County Fairgrounds this past weekend in Winner. In the first go of cutting, Roper Moore for the Tripp County Rodeo team earned the buckle, followed by Seth Heath for the Tripp County team in second place. In the second go, Seth Heath earned another second place finish. In the reined cow horse, In the first go, Seth Heath earned second place. In the second go, Roper Moore received first place followed by a second place finish from Seth Heath. The following local rodeo athletes for the Tripp County team earned points in their perspective events.

Final day of carnival in Ainsworth today
The Ainsworth Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Middle of Nowhere Carnival Days through the end of the day today on Ainsworth’s Main Street. The carnival will be open from 6 to 10pm. Wristbands will be available for purchase at the ticket booth for $30 with unlimited rides.

At the Valentine Chamber of Commerce Tournament on Saturday at Frederick Peak Golf Course, the Tooth and Whisker Outdoor team won as they shot a 61.
At the 4 person tournament at the Burke Golf Course on Saturday, the Bakke team won as they carded a 61. Jolene VanMetre was the finalist for the $5,000 putt, but was unable to sink the shot.
