The Lazy J Sporting Club in Ideal will host a Lazy J Social Event this Saturday, April 18th. Happy hour will be from 4-6pm, and there will be live music by Emry Kaiser starting at 8pm. The event will run from 4 to midnight inside the Bullroom.

Boys and Girls Golf
JV and Middle School Golf was held on Tuesday. At the JV Meet in Gregory, Reese Halligan of Winner Area was the medalist as she carded a 44. Claire Pravecek of Winner Area was third as she shot a 53. At the Middle School Girls Meet in Burke, Hannah Schuman of Platte/Geddes was the medalist as she shot a 53. Gracie Biggins of Gregory was runner up with a 54. Winner’s Ani Duffy was 13th with a 72. In the middle school boys tournament, Drake Slade of Bon Homme was the medalist as he shot a 44. Reece Burket of Platte/Geddes was fifth with a 46.
The Ainsworth Boys Golf team dualed with Valentine on Tuesday in Ainsworth. Garrett Cumbow of Valentine was the medalist as he shot a 40. Ainsworth’s Bear Rea was runner up with a 41.

Lincoln Kranig of Kimball/White Lake won the boys 100 in 11.04. Kranig also won the 200 in 22.66. Gregory’s Pierce Stukel won the boys 400 in 53.07. Luke Barreto of Gregory won the boys 800 in 2:07:53. Grace Phillips of Chamberlain won the girls mile in 5:24:96. Ali McCord of Kimball/White Lake won the girls 2 mile in 12:12:74. Gregory’s Luke Barreto won the boys 2 mile in 10:24:10. Colt Keiser of Gregory won the boys 300 hurdles on 41:98. Gregory won the boys 4 x 1 relay in 45.28. Chamberlain won the girls 4 x 8 relay in 10:09:86. Claire Maydew of Platte/Geddes won the girls Pole Vault with a meet best- 9 feet. Gregory’s Colt Keiser won the boys high jump with a leap of 6-5. Kyler Strand of Platte/Geddes won the boys pole vault with a meet best, 11-06.

The Twins shutout the Red Sox, 6-0. Byron Buxton homered twice in the victory for Minnesota, who now have the best record in the American League at 11-7. Minnesota will wrap up the series against Boston today, first pitch will be at 12:40.
Big Bend Shrine Circus returning to Chamberlain next week!
The Big Bend Shrine Circus will happen on April 20th and the 21st at the Chamberlain Armory! There will be two performances each evening at 4:30 and 7:15. Cost for tickets per adult is $15, and it’s $10 for kids. Advance tickets can be purchased at Burke Oil, or by calling 730-0799.

Winner Dispatch to conduct tornado siren testing tomorrow
Winner Dispatch will be conducting tornado siren testing this week. They will test the sirens on Wednesday, April 15th beginning at approximately 10:15am in the communities of Winner, Colome and Witten.
