City Meetings Taking Place Monday
The Gregory City Council will meet on Monday, August 17 at 6:00 p.m. at Gregory City Hall.
The Chamberlain City Commission will meet Monday as well at 6:00 p.m. at the Chamberlain City.
The City of Winner will meet Monday as well at 6:30 p.m. in the Coucil Chambers at Winner City Hall.
Purple Hulls Concert and RP Smith to Perform In Gregory Sunday
The Purple Hulls Concert and RP Smith will perform Sunday evening at the Prairie View Gosepl Barn in Gregory, South Dakota with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and the show begining at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the concert. Chidlren 10 and under are free. Tickets are avilable at BankWest in Gregory or one can call Geoff Smith at 830-1545.
Pheasants march on to Saturday
The Winner/Colome Pheasants were able to receive some clutch, late game hits Thursday night from multiple guys as they took down the Renner Bullets, 7-4. Connor Hopkins earned the win in relief. Dillion Lambley hit the go-ahead single in the eighth before Austin Richey blasted a two run double to center to extend the lead to three. The Pheasants advance to play Alexandria in the semifinals on Saturday at 5:30. Coverage on Magic 93 will start at 5pm.

Mr. Automotive/Pronto Auto Parts 2nd Annual Cruise Night Tomorrow
The Mr. Automotive/Pronto Auto Parts 2nd Annual Cruise Night will take place in Gregory, South Dakota tomorrow evening from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Bring your classic to town for a flash back to the 50’s and 60’s. It doesn’t need to be car show ready, just ready to cruise. Or bring your lawn chair and enjoy watching the cars and listening to music from Uncle Roy and the Boys. There will be concessions available.

2020 Run for a Reason in Winner Saturday, August 15th
The 2020 Run for a Reason takes place this Saturday, August 15th. It starts at 8:00 a.m. at Winner High School in the AG Room with sign in prior at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $10 per runner with all proceeds going to the Tripp County Building Facility.
State Amateur Baseball from Monday
A pair of games took place on Monday night at Cadwell Park in Mitchell for the State B Amateur Baseball Tournament. In game 1, the Renner Bullets were able to hold off the Platte Killer Tomatoes, 9-5. In game two, the Winner/Colome Pheasants were able to march on to the third round as they beat Garretson, 5-2. Winner/Colome will play Renner at around 8pm Thursday. We will have coverage on 93.7FM.
