College Football News
Former USD Head Football Coach Bob Nielson decided to step down as head coach for the Coyotes on Thursday. Defensive Coordinator Travis Johansen was named the new Head Coach at USD.
Donations being taken for Kelly Duffy benefit
There will be a benefit meal and auction for Kelly Duffy at the Tripp County 4-H Building at the Fairgrounds in Winner on February 7th beginning at 6pm. Money donations can be left at Sentinel Federal Credit Union in Winner, or by calling 842-3581. The account is set up under ‘Kelly Duffy Benefit’. Donations for the event can be dropped off at the Winner City Office.

Date set for Spring Fishing Tournament in Platte
The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce has set the date for their 29th annual fishing tournament. The 2025 tournament will take place on May 3rd. There will be over $20,000 in payouts this year. Registration will open February 1st. Further information can be found at plattesd.org.
