Fall play coming up at Winner Community Playhouse

“Dead Giveaway” by Pat Cook, with permission from Eldridge Publishing Co. will be coming to the Winner Community Playhouse on September 29th, 30th, October 5th, 6th and the 7th! It will be a murder/mystery/comedy with the following cast: Mary Backus, Brandy Biggins, Tami Comp, Barb Desersa, Michele Hagenlock, Ron High Rock and Linda Nelson.

The team of Steve Waller and Mark Wiley won the Member Guest Tournament at the Winner Country Club as they finished with a 16 under par score  over the two days that were played.

At the West Central Electric Tournament Saturday in Murdo, the team of Josh Krogman, Justice Morrison and Jamie McGowen won the tournament as they shot a 62.

 

4-H State Finals in Fort Pierre

Jr Girls Breakaway Champion- Bailey Shelbourn

Jr Boy Goats- Coy Shelbourn was sixth overall

Jr Boy Breakaway- Jakob Heath was 7th overall

Sr Boys tie down- Seth Heath was 10th overall

Sr Bull Riding- Taos Weber was 4th overall, and Aiden Schroeder was 10th overall

Sr Team Roping- Roper and Rowdy Moore were 5th overall

Jr Girls Flag Race- Baya Dehning was sixth overall

Jr Boys Flag Race- Ryggan Lambley was 10th overall

Fun run and walk set for this weekend in Colome

The 1st annual Colome Cowboy Fair fun run and walk will take place this Saturday, August 26th! Registration will open at 7am and the race will start at 8am. There will be a 1 mile walk and two mile run. Races will begin and end at the Vet’s Hall. The cost is $10 per participant, and proceeds will go toward the Vet’s Hall for necessary repairs and updates.
