The 13th annual Smoke on the Water Cook-Off will happen on Saturday, September 6th at the Oasis Campground in Oacoma. A car show will begin at 11am in the Riverview Chevrolet parking lot. The corn hole tournament will begin at 2pm, followed by the 30 guns in 30 minutes raffle starting at 3pm and the rib and brisket feed will begin at 5:30.

The Colome School District will close out their homecoming festivities tonight. Their parade will begin at 1pm this afternoon. Tonight, the Cowboy Football team will host Platte/Geddes at 7pm. Last night, Colome held coronation. Sam Brandsgaard was crowned homecoming king, while Gracie Rohde was crowned homecoming queen.
