Winner School District to kick off Summer Lunch Program on June 2nd

The Winner School District will be kicking off their free summer lunch program on Monday, June 2nd. The program will run through Monday, June 30th. They will be serving a free lunch Monday’s through Thursday’s from 11:45am to 12:45pm at the Winner Armory. No paperwork is required and no questions asked. There is no cost for the meals as they will be free to all kids ages 18 and under. Meals must be eaten at the Winner Armory.

Lake Platte Classic Golf Tournament to happen May 31st

The 5th annual Lake Platte Classic Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, May 31st at the Lake Platte Golf Course in Platte. The tournament is being hosted by Frontier Motors, Grossenburg Implement and Miller & Associates. It will be a four person scramble format, and you must have at least one female on each team. Shotgun start is at 11am. To signup, call the clubhouse at 337-3300.
