A few weekend reminders
Held over at the Hipp Theatre in Gregory this weekend is the movie “Sing”. Show times this Friday through Sunday will be at 7:30pm. The fifth annual Mike Dacy free will donation hog roast will be held Friday night beginning at 6:30 at Mary Bobs in Gregory! Also, the Kennebec Town and Country Club will hold an ice fishing tournament January 14th and the 15th. You must be registered by 3pm on Saturday. A rules meeting will happen on Saturday starting at 3 at Hot Rods in Kennebec.
Murdo, White River and Winner to hold upcoming blood drives
There will be a blood drive in White River on Monday, January 23rd from 1:45 to 5:30 at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. To make an appointment call Donna at 259-3372. There will be a blood drive in Murdo on Tuesday the 24th from 10am-12:30 at the Senior Citizens Center. To make an appointment call Lillian at 669-2172. A two day blood drive will happen on the 25th and 26th at the Holiday Inn Express in Winner. On the 25th the drive will run from Noon to 6pm, and on the 26th the drive will go from 7:30 to 11:30am.

The Sports Zone to return next week
Due to our ongoing coverage of the Jones County Invitational, the ‘Sports Zone’ with Chris Doski and Casey Hutmacher will not air today. The guys will be back next Thursday to break down the AFC and NFC Championship games and make their predictions on who will punch their ticket to the Super Bowl! The program will air at 1:45 on 93.7FM! Remember at the end of the show the guys will give away one big Bud Light prize package to one lucky caller who calls in and correctly answers the trivia question they have.
Ladies night coming up at the Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun Club!
A ladies night will take place on February 8th at the Rosebud Arrow Rod and Gun Club in Winner starting at 7pm! Ladies are asked to bring their own gun (22 pistols only), ammo, eye and ear protection. Members will get to shoot for free and non-members will need to pay five dollars. Ladies twelve years and older are welcome. An adult must be present with twelve year olds.
Hair Expressions still holding a coats project!
A Caring Coats Project is taking place in Chamberlain-Oacoma! The community is collecting gently used and new coats of all sizes, vests, gloves, scarves, mittens, hats and blankets right now. You can drop off those items at Hair Expressions. If you have a coat to give then please leave a coat. If you need a coat, then you are encouraged to take a coat. Coverage from Murdo tomorrow!
The 49th annual Jones County Invitational will get underway Thursday at the Harold Thune Auditorium in Murdo! The tournament will begin at 1pm as Lyman will take on Stanley County followed by Colome battling Bennett County. At 6:30, Jones County will play Kadoka followed by Philip facing off against White River. Remember our coverage will go as follows: The afternoon games Thursday and Friday will be on Country 1260 while the night games will be on Magic 93. All four of the final games on Saturday will also be on 93.7fm.
