The White River United Methodist Church will hold a fall bazaar on Saturday, November 15th from 5-7pm at the Catholic Hall. They will be serving soup, sandwiches and dessert for a free will offering. There will be raffle items up for grabs, along with pie and a themed basket auction. There will be a kids art activity table too.

A Veterans Day celebration and fundraiser will take place this Saturday, November 8th beginning at 5:30pm at the Colome Legion. There will be a free will offering soup supper and dessert. A pitch tournament will also take place beginning at 7pm.

The Valentine Chamber of Commerce will have their Holiday Preview take place on Saturday, November 22nd. Santa and his reindeer will be setup that day at Young’s Western Wear. The parade of lights will begin that evening at 6:30pm on Valentine’s Main Street.

A benefit dart tournament will take place for Rita Pravecek on Saturday, November 22nd at the Colome Legion. It will be round robin team 501 format and will be limited to 18 teams and 3 divisions. The deadline to register and pay is November 14th, and the cost is $160 per team. If you have questions, call 384-5350.

Skatetowne in Colome has begin open skating sessions for the season! They are open from 2 to 4pm each Sunday afternoon. The cost is $3 per skater. If you would like to book a private party, call Betsy Shippy at 842-5621.

There will be a blood drive at the Winner High School Auxiliary Gym this coming Wednesday, November 5th. The drive will run from 10:15am to 3pm. If you would like to signup in advance, you can do so by going to lifeservebloodcenter.org.

A benefit pie and soup supper will happen this Sunday, November 2nd from 4-7pm at the Clearfield Hall. Stop by for delicious homemade pie and soup! There will also be a country store with all kinds of homemade goods and a silent auction.

The Gregory/Dallas Chamber will have trunk or treat take place in the Gregory School parking lot this Friday, October 31st from 5-7pm. They will have a haunted bus on site, and they will be taking pictures of kids in their costumes for the paper. Avera will also offer trick or treating on Friday from 6-7pm.
