Heartland Waste is reminding residential customers around the area that due to the Labor Day holiday , they will not be picking up garbage on Monday, September 2nd.   Customers can expect trash pick to take place on the following Tuesday and Wednesday.

This September, Grossenburg Implement  will acquire two additional John Deere dealerships –  Bentz Equipment located in Belle Fourche, SD and Sundance Equipment located in Sundance, WY.

The acquisition of the two locations is part of Grossenburg Implement’s long-term growth strategy to add new markets and carry forward their tradition of service by investing in people, communities, and buildings.

The adoption of the provisional budget for 2020 for Tripp County in South Dakota will be held in Winner on Tuesday, September 13th at 11 AM.

The Board of County Commissioners will consider foregoing the provisional budget for 2020 until the final adoption of the budget on September, 26th, 2019.

There has been a change to the movie schedule at the Winner Pix Movie Theater this upcoming weekend.  Angry Birds 2 will show at the theater starting on Friday, August 30th and then Scary Stories will show the following week, on Friday, September 6th.

On Thursday, August 29th, the  Colome Area Farmers Market will be returning; offering local home-grown produce, handmade breads, jams, jellies, baked goods, hand-crafted items, prepped meals, eggs, and more.  The event will take place 4:30 to 7:00 PM at Colome City Park.

The Rural Behavioral Health Team at South Dakota State Extension and the South Dakota Counselors Association are teaming up for a  South Dakota Farm and Ranch Summit. It will take place from September 23rd to 25th at the Arrowwood Cedar Shore Resort and Conference Center in Oacoma, South Dakota.

Now playing at the Pix Theater in Winner, South Dakota is the film ” The Art of Racing in the Rain”. The film is a comedy directed by Robert Curtis and starring  Milo Ventimiglia, Amanda Seyfried, and Kevin Costner. There is one show Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM .
